September 2010 Fishing Report
All is well in The Eastern Sierras. The fishing is really great right now and about to get even better. I have been guiding mainly around Mammoth and The East Walker, as well as Hot Creek Ranch. All of our local fisheries have been producing healthy and fat fish for clients. The Upper Owens should start to fish really well as fall nears. Time to throw some streamers to the big lake trout on the move. The same goes for The East Walker, as the perch fry are getting pretty plump up there. So practice your up stream hook set and lets go fishing!

Nathan,
I have been a bait fisherman my entire life and you have shown me the light on fly fishing! I was always intimidated to try fly fishing and your instruction made me feel like I have been doing it for years. I can’t believe I caught my first fish on Crowley in a float tub on a fly rod (and released him). I will be in touch this winter about scheduling a trip for spring. Thanks for a great expereince!
